We no longer live or work anywhere near Cerritos Ford – in fact, I work over 200 miles away. On Monday, I approached my local dealership about buying a new Ford Fusion. The salesperson gave the the usual pitch – ran the credit – came up with an unreasonable offer and ultimately offered something tolerable. As I left that dealership, I called Cerritos Ford and was greeted by the friendly voice of Kathy Jo Bailey – the internet fleet manager. Within 10 minutes and over 200 miles away, she and I were able to strike a great deal.
However, where the customer service really shined was with the pickup. They knew I was driving more than 3 hours to get the vehicle, they stayed late to make sure that I was happy. On my drive down, Holly Spray (filling in for Kathy) checked in periodically to ease my concerns about running late and told me it was nothing to worry about. The whole process was perfect and you can be assured that I will be buying number five from them in the future!
